Optikai és rádió összeköttetések integrálása

In future 5G networks the combined optical-wireless links will gain wide application. For these links an improved architecture is proposed. The treatment and optimization of the combined optical-wireless links as a complete system is an important issue. There are several challenging problems in both parts of this system. In the optical domain the fiber exhibits remarkable dispersion which deteriorates signal transmission. Similar problems arise in the wireless domain due to multipath wave propagation. Using the concept of the synergy of radio over fiber and wireless links the properties of the system parts and their mutual effects are investigated in details. The optical and wireless transmission properties are determined obtaining this way optimum solution for the complete system.
